The company was founded in 2008 by Rick Florino, a critically acclaimed author and seasoned writer, whose impressive writing speed got the entire entertainment industry talking–and they’re still talking.

At 19-years-old, upon graduating from Boston University Magna Cum Laude, Rick Florino moved to Los Angeles from Massachusetts in order to pursue his dream of working in the movie biz. After launching his own magazine Ruin in Hot Topic stores nationwide, he became editor-in-chief of one of the internet’s most highly trafficked music sites, ARTISTdirect.com in 2007. In 2008, he founded his own business Written On Time, Inc.

His works as an author include the 2011 horror series Dolor and the 2009 music business survival guide, Do The Devil’s Work For Him [co-written with Amy Sciarretto]. Fangoria, Bloody-Disgusting, DreadCentral, and more praised Dolor, while Florino was interviewed on Fox News, No Good TV, Music Connection, AOL, and more in addition to expert appearances on AXS TV.
